Weekend Camping Reservations

The Westchester-Putnam Council will be utilizing a new online Reservation System for Weekend Camping at Durland Scout Reservation and Curtis S. Read Scout Reservation. You will be able to reserve your Cabin or Campsite using this system.

Reservation System is now LIVE

All reservations are first come - first serve and you will pay for the reservation at the time of booking.

Process:

From the Drop Down Menu on the Main Webpage click: Camping / Weekend Camping or use this LINK
Click on "Search for & Book your Rentals Here!"
Using Calendar - Select the weekend date you would like to reserve a cabin or campsite
Select the Location (the camp)
If you know what type of Facility your are looking for select it (but this is not required)
Click on Search and all available options will show
Select the Facility you want to rent and follow the steps to finalize your Reservation

Programs:

Program Area rentals may be made by emailing the below appropriate forms to wpc.camping@scouting.org, or faxing them to 914-449-9690. Once the forms and appropriate certification documents are received by the Camping Department, you may call in your payment to complete the reservation. You may also mail these documents in with payment.

**Note: Program Facilities are available ONLY for use at Durland Scout Reservation.

The Rifle Range at Durland will be unavailable until further notice

Refund Policy:

A refund or change of date may be made only if a unit notifies the Camping Dept. at least thirty (30) days in advance of scheduled date. Units canceling less than thirty (30) days will not receive any refund, unless the camp is closed due to weather hazards. For cabin rentals, if we are able to rent the cabin, a full refund will be granted.
